Deadline has reported that Anthony Mackie and Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be teaming up to star in Ending Things, a special pack created by Kevin Sullivan that is currently attracting a number of potential buyers. Ending Things is an action film set in the world of assassins and has been described as along the same lines as James Cameron's True Lies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Ending Things focuses on an assassin who wants out of the assassin business and tells her business partner that she is also going to end their personal relationship. But she realizes she doesn't want to end that part of their bond and to describe the breakup and their last job together, they have to team up for one last night of partying. Though Deadline doesn't say anything, one could imagine Priyanka Chopra Jones playing the hitmaker and Anthony Mackie her business partner.
Anthony Mackie recently starred alongside Amy Adams, Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore in Joe Wright's The Woman in the Window, which is currently streaming on Netflix. He's also set to direct the fourth Captain America film after Sam Wilson officially takes over the shield in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Malcolm Spellman, lead writer and creator of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will co-write the screenplay for Captain America 4 with Disney+ series staff writer Dalan Musson. As for Priyanka Chopra Jones, she was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections and The White Tiger, an adaptation of Aravind Adiga's novel of the same name, about a poor Indian villager who uses his wits and cunning to escape poverty.
